Most hospitals will face requirements over the years to consolidate and move staff around alongside capital project developments.
Sometimes whole buildings and sites can be sold off for development meaning new facilities have to be found for existing staff in alternative buildings.
Stirling Medical & Scientific Ltd worked with the hospital trust to help design and provide over 100 No. workstations with cable and data management systems and PC monitor arms for a modern hot desk working environment, complete with adjustable height desks for disabled staff.
The project also included the supply of Storage cabinets, Desking for Meeting rooms, Break-out Pods, Lockers, Kitchen cabinet areas and Seating for a complete top floor building conversion as a result of the Trust selling off excess sites.
The end result is a bright and rewarding environment to work in for NHS staff. It can be surprising how much additional staff output productivity can be achieved by creating the right environment to work in when you compare this to old and tired office areas.
