With limited space around critical equipment, Cath Lab 3 needed a storage solution that made the most of every centimetre without compromising accessibility.
Building on our experience with previous Cath Lab projects at the Trust, Stirling supplied Systeméd HTM71 mobile catheter cabinets with glass sliding doors, telescopic rails and additional ventilation slots for specialist equipment.
The sliding doors reduced the space needed to access cabinets and maintained a clean environment during procedure, while the glass fronts made stock easier to identify. Telescopic rails supported better organisation and access to catheters, while the additional ventilation helped maintain airflow around specialist equipment.
The result? A tailored storage solution designed around the department’s needs, helping make better use of space while keeping essential supplies visible, accessible and organised.
